It is with great sadness that we must inform you that Ellen Walton passed away peacefully during the evening of 18th February 2025.
Ellen was a member of Council until early last year and served our Society for over 40 years. We have lost a huge advocate of the Irish Draught and a knowledge of the breed which was unsurpassed.
Our condolences go to her husband, Sam, and friends at this very sad time.
Ellen’s funeral will take place on Monday 10th March, at 10.30am.
Octon Crematorium, Cross Road, Driffield, East Riding of North Yorkshire. YO25 3BL. This will be followed by a wake at Lockington Village Hall.
